If a country, like Israel, is attacked, as they were by Hezbollah, they have the right to retaliate. There has been wide condemnation, mostly by Moslem countries, of Israel’s method of retaliation. One of the main criticisms has been that Israel “escalated” the conflict by using tanks, aircraft and artillery that Hezbollah does not have.

My question is:
Would the people, that complained that Israel “escalated” the conflict, have had any complaints about Israel’s retaliation if Israel’s retaliation had consisted of fired barrages of katousha rockets back at Hezbollah? (Bear in mind that katousha rockets are unguided and are designed to kill civilians.)

If Israel used the same weapons, they couldn’t justifiably be accused of “escalating” the conflict, but you can be assured that there would have been a dramatic increase in Lebonese civilian casualties. Would this have been more acceptable to the Moslem countries?

On July 28th, I was bitten by a brown recluse. I went to my doctor the same day and he put me on two types of antibiotics, which I have completed. Without realizing it, last night, I made the mistake of itching the skin around the area of the bite and it has inflamed back up. I will not itch it anymore, but can somebody tell me why it's itching so bad?

I have two preschoolers ages 5 and 4. Both of them do not talk to their teacher and friends at school. But they speak a lot at home. They will play with others but never utter a single word. When people asking them question, even simple like "What`s your name?" They`ll never answer. They will only smile or hide behind me.

How will I make them talk to people? Why are they become so shy to speak to others?

I have a PSP. I'm looking to expand my portable gaming console collection.

Should i get a GBA SP(brighter screen) or a GB Micro?

Considering that the PSP isn't very portable and i would like something smaller that i can carry anywhere.

The Micro's screen is a little small compared to the SP's bigger screen but the SP's a little big.

My boyfriend and i live together with his parents and he has a serious drug problem. last night he went off and stayed out all night smoking crack and came home and raised he**! I always wonder and perhaps u can shed light if u pastor did mention this to u:

Can a baptised Christian go to heaven even if he's remorseful of his sins. I mean upon baptism, all his previous sins will be forgiven but what is the logic if he still continue to sin and can go to heaven?

For Catholic, I believe that this is where Purgatory fit in (according to the substantial writtings by the Church Fathers, Doctors and Saints and Church doctrine) where the soul will be cleanse till he pay all his sins then to Heaven.

Thus confession is very important to a Catholic where he seeks for God's forgiveness thru a priest and be given a penance.

Can any Christians pls clear my doubts on this? Thanks!! Appreciate constructive and non-retailiating views.
