I have a PSP. I'm looking to expand my portable gaming console collection.

Should i get a GBA SP(brighter screen) or a GB Micro?

Considering that the PSP isn't very portable and i would like something smaller that i can carry anywhere.

The Micro's screen is a little small compared to the SP's bigger screen but the SP's a little big.

How??

If you don't have any old Gameboy Classic games you intend playing on it (you can't play them on the Micro if you do), get the DS.... it plays both GBA + it's own games so you get the best of both worlds..... and it certainly beats the cr*p out of the 2nd-hand GBA (original) I bought off Ebay a few years back.

DS has a bright screen (passed down to the GBA SP + Micro) and folds to pocket size + is more powerful than a GBA.

Check out the GBA + DS games on Gamespot:

If that doesn't appeal, check-out Nokia's N-Gage... that's portable, slightly smaller than a GBA... slightly more powerful, has some good games for it (better standard than some of the things on the GBA) + can get all sorts of 3rd party apps for it, including emulators for the original Gameboy, the NES/SNES + other vintage systems such as the Sinclair spectrum.

The systems' alot better than some people give it credit for (+ as it only sold just over 1million systems.... less than Nokia were planning at launch... you'd be joining an exclusive club)

Between the two, I'd go with a GBA (SP).
Even though the Micro is smaller, it's not a size that's practical. It's quite difficult to hold, especially for guys who had larger hands. Unless you want to bring it around in your pocket there's really no real need to go as small as a Micro.

The GBA SP on the other hand, is a really nice size. I also like that it's clamshell, so the screen is protected when not in use. The brighter screen is really nice too.
