Why do you think it is that crimes against women and children are underpunished? Do you think that women and children aren't as important to the justice system as men?

On average, sex criminals are sentenced to 64 months in prison (thats 5 years, 4 months). Remember, though- MANY are given less than 18 months.

Robbery crimes get, on average, 106 months. Thats 8 years, 4 months.

Burglary gets about 3 years.

There are many pedophiles and rapist/sexual assault criminals in my state (NC) who only recieve probation!!

One guy had an incestuous relationship with a near-relative and received 22 DAYS.

Why is this?? Why can't we protect those who need protection the most?

What can we do to ensure this doesnt continue?

Also, the women age faster physically, but by how much. I know a couples who are 10 years apart. The man and women look the same age and sometimes the women looks even older.

I applied for, and was denied, a job transfer for the same field position I currently hold elsewhere in the country. Job duties are identical. Employed w/ the company 11 yrs, 2.5 in current role. VERY successful in current role. I nearly maxed-out bonus potential both years. Similar results this year. Performance appraisals in current role have been "Exceeds Expectations" & "Improving". Duties are expanding into new responsibilities where prior experience has me labeled most knowledgable. My competition: one level below my current job, office job, very little field experience & face time w/ customers, employed with company shorter time but longer in related field however outdated experience in expanding role, assume equivalent preformance reviews, no bonus structure. We differ by race or gender. Hiring manager is not my current boss & works in office w/ my competition, is opposite gender or race of competition. Did someone take an impression of real leather in order to emboss this into plastics, or is the texture created using some chemical method?

You sometimes see it in car dashboards etc, I assume to provide grip and reduce the appearance of marks.

I assume cows would have unique skin patterns, much like fingerprints. If real cow skin patterns are used, would that make the cow immortalised in texture form?

i have one visa with validity 60 day from issue date and duration of stay 30 day if enter 50 day after issue date can i stay 30 day or i have to leave after 10 day (60 day after visa date issue).
in fact visa validity is include duration or use only for entering???

Three week old baby will sleep for up to 4 hours at a time, but only if I am holding her. As soon as I put her down, she screams. We've let it go for 5-10 minutes thinking she'd cry herself to sleep, but she does't.

We bought a 2006 Ford Fusion in April. We live on a gravel road and keep getting rocks stuck in the metal plate below the gas tank. We have had to have the dealership clean it out three times already. Anyone else having the same problem, or maybe a different one that I should watch for?

Ok he left when I got pregnant, and now he is talking to a girlfriend(*pam*) of mine to ask how I am doing, but yet he doesn't call me or write me to ask me himself. I also had another friend who I thought was talking to him behind my back (*june*), and when that was going on *pam* told me *june* was wrong because she was my friend and he needed to ask me himself. but now *pam* is doing the same thing. i dont know what to do or how to tell her she is wrong without losing a friend, can anyone help, or has anyone had something similar happen to them??

I am quite a bit older than he is. But he has the dreamiest eyes, and to me he is HOT! He smiles at me everytime he sees me, and makes it a point to say Hi to me.
