Why the hell do you all trace your roots back and stand proud telling people you are 3/4's Irish or 1/2 English,1/4 scottish and 1/4 French or wherever the bloody hell you are from.

I live far from the USA, though my country is America's backyard, as most American politicians use to say.
But, from down here, I find it difficult to believe that journalists, people with access to information (not the ordinary people who are mere victms of the media) could accept the crap that was supplied by the media and the government on the facts surrounding the September 11th tragedy.
Planes evapporating against walls, aircrafts flying loose accross American skies without transponders, crystal-ball's conclusions...
All that smells so bad that even the alleged origin of the attacks seems to be doubtful, mainly considering that Rand corporation had depicted exactly a similar scenario months before, and important members of the Bush Adm. were members of that corp.
And, finally, seeing the transformation of America into a Police State and, worse, in a rogue state that attacks other countries for their riches, it is hard to believe.... Poor America.....

if a friend, family member or aquaintance said they were addicted to something, (alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, internet, work)? Would you try to shelter them from some of the things you may be doing? Would you understand that it is our problem, not yours, and while you don't necessarily have to be blatant about what may be casual use for you, would you try to avoid us or the subject? Just trying to educate, just because we had a problem that we are dealing with, and I hope no one who is an addict will try to reform others just because they may use (although I know that there are varying degrees of health within our communities and some have not yet gotten the point that we only assist when asked to do so) anyway, any thoughts on the matter?

i am a girl myself and i just think it looks gross when girls are super skinny? nicole richie, paris hilton,hilary duff, lindsay lohan just to name a few are too skinny. there is nothing wrong with having a little meat on your bones. if i was guy that would be a complete turn off for me. so can people answer me this, why do girls think super skinny is sexy?

I gave my son a scrambled egg this morning and he ended up throwing up all over. He has had small amounts of eggs before (just a couple of bites) and it has not made him sick. SInce he has thrown up he seems fine. Any thoughts? Was it the eggs or is he sick?

I have excema that flares up alot more in the summer.. my whole body just recently broke out because i used a washcloth that was washed in TIDE.. i have to use baby detergent and anything that i touch must be fragrance free because my skin is extremely sensitive .. any tips on relieving the itching and making the bumps go away ( there very very tiny, but they still are there)

We've tried all the psychological tricks, like telling her that her fingers and teeth will look ugly, taking her to the dentist and letting him tell her it's messing up her teeth, etc... She uses it as comfort and we are constantly telling her to stop. We've thought about an appliance, but hate to go that far... Any suggestions??

It is well documented that einstein flunked school.
So how is it that he became one of the so called 'Brilliant Minds' of all time ?
I strongly believe that it's a scientific alternative to debunk the existence of God, as the average person would not understand what he was on about - in other words, he used complex calculations and equations that baffled people.
Can anyone, with their hand on their heart, honestly say that they understand the theory of relativity ?
I consider myself intelligent, but find too many flaws in his theory. It seems he created other 'general theories' to fit relativity, and tried to piece them all together.
What I have a problem with, is that relativity doesnt fit 100% with string theory, which is what the intellects among us generally accept as the newest theory that fits into our understanding of Physics.
Anyone that says Einstein was brilliant, is as mad as he was.
You heard that saying - ' He blinded me with science' ??

I've noticed that within the past ten years, two things have happened side by side... more people are challanging God and His beliefs and more inhumane acts are being commited. Stem Cell Research, Gay Marriages (i'm really not against them completely), suicide bombings, more and more murders, kidnappings. doesn't it seem that they just pop up on the news every second?!?
