Coming from a descendent of Dauid.
Mariam the virgin came through the Lineage of David through his wife Bathsheba in his son Nathan a prophet given in the geneology in Luke the Greek Physician. The geneology in Mattithyahu/Matthew a Levite was that of Yoseph.
Some say this is Yoseph the husband of Mariam while others say it is the lineage of Yoseph her father. I tend to believe it is Yoseph her husband the (step) father of Yahu'shua of Nazareth.
