Good Ques. The muslims are fearful of a backlash from the powers that be. You see ever since the 9/11 they have been gripped with a fear-factor and because the means by which they voice their anger is not acceptable and not justifiable...whether you name it as 9/11, Iraq, Afghanistan, Indonesian bombings, attack in the NZ embassy in Pakistan, Mumbai blasts in India, violence in Kashmir, Training Camps in Pakistan and constant infiltration of terrorists into the Indian territory, etc. Correct, they may have a cause but the means certainly not justfiable (the context of my argument is not the present Lebanon crisis, please). Although a minority, some of them are being seen as suspects the World over and because of this hardening of their stance of the 'powers that be' has long back set in motion. Though if you ask a Muslim friend of yours he will agree that this is not so that they do not agree with extremism, BUT WILL NOT SPEAK OUT HIS HEART. It is the innate (innermost) feeling or the fear-factor, in my opinion.

on an identical time as i think of the bit appropriate to the Crusades is somewhat beside the element (it fairly became too until now, and it is in the present day's mass media that have fairly created the placement the place any Muslim is termed a ability terrorist), I applaud your assertion at right here. i'm astounded that countless the answerers look to point that by some ability until you end the Al Qaeda/Taliban/terrorist followers, you're by some ability complicit. i ask your self why they do no longer experience that each and one and all Christians ought to be judged via the communities that killed docs and nurses working in abortion clinics? or any of the different outrages committed via particular communities who declare a Christian foundation for his or her strikes. via the comparable logic, all Christians ought to have taken duty for those outrages. i think of this is extra correct than the Crusades. EDIT: allure45connie, you're top in pointing out that there became some state popularity of terrorism in a fashion there wasn't for the abortion health facility atrocities. besides the undeniable fact that, what i became fairly attempting to get at is which you would be able to no longer anticipate reasonable Muslims to take duty for the lunatic fringe any further than you could anticipate Christians to take duty for his or her lunatic fringe. If the asker lives in a rustic which isn't between the single helping terrorism, how is s/he meant to exert effect? If s/he lives in a rustic that DOES help terrorism, I very plenty doubt there is plenty threat to effect something. reasonable Muslims HAVE spoken out against terrorism, many cases, yet they don't get plenty exposure for his or her statements. interior the united kingdom, they have at cases resorted to paying for finished-internet site commercials in national newspapers to objective and get their message for the time of.

Muslims do speak out publicly and privately but they themselves become targets of hate both within and outside of their community.Whats happening in the Muslim world leads to extremism .To do away with extremism one should do away with its causes.Take out the action and their will be no reaction.
