I was at the National Mall in DC with my boyfriend(he's latino; but it doesn't matter to me) and all these black dudes were staring at us. I started to get unconfortable because some of them started to say some racsit comment to me and my boy and some of even tried to start a confortation with my man. And they were all saying ' youre one of the prettiest chicks in SE why can't u date a nega?'We tried to ignore them but it go to the point where my man and I left. When he dropped me off to my busstop, a lot of guys were giving us strange looks and some fellow sistas were rolling there eyes. I almost broke down in tears because some of the guys were calling me a 'sellout' and a 'oreo'Whats up? I mean I love who I love this is the second time this has happend to me around my neighborhood. Why do some black folks have to be like this? All me and my man were trying to do is enjoy ourselves and watch some fireworks.

Acutally, not just children. Why do people in general think this is safe and ok to do? Do people not realize any Joe-blo with google can find where they live, thier phone number, pictures, what school they go to, and etc. just with a simple screen name or email address? Just try it! Google your screen name and see what pops up. Chances are, if you have ever posted personal information online, it's not that hard to find if you know how to look.

I really need a new screen name for AIM. My old one is very preppy, and I'm not like that any more. My problem is nobody has told him, should I? My grandpa is 84, (I am 36), and have lived with him a significant part of my life, it's a mexican thing, and our relationship has always been one of keeping the other one step ahead, no BS, with info about everything from presents, to my grandma or mom being pissed of at us. They have stopped all meds, except pain meds, and say he will live 5-7 days. I go see him every morning around 6:30am, that happens every day he's not home. Reason I need to know now is bcuz my grandma set up for his priest to come by tomorrow, and my grandpa may be uneducated but he isn't stupid by any means, I think he will figure it out. He has 3 sons, all local, and his help has been primarily by my grandma and 1 uncle, and by me whenever needed, but not on a regular basis, my grandma wouldn't allow it any other way, and neither would my grandpa, alzheimer's is one of many things. I'm not asking anyone to make a tough decision for me, but help with insight.
