Best guess is 5 to 6 years before they will have a warhead to put on it, so for now it is a kind of long range rock throw contest.

And the rocks didn't get very far.

They will try again. However, North Korea's missile program exists cheifly for attention, not for aggression. They know that they will gain international angst if they were to actually attack another country; flying a missile over sovereign territory would be enough to anger someone. Back in '97 or '98, N.Korea flew a missile over Japan, and that really riled up international relations. So all of this is just pomp and show; the intent is not to intimidate, but to be a red-headed stepchild and try to gain attention on the international level (to broker such things as economic deals in exchange for them to cease their missile program).

Of coarse they will try again, I believe t is possible for the missiles to reach our soil, but most people don't know of surface-to-air defence systems we posses i.e. rockets that will intercept missiles mid-flight.

I'm sure they will try again, that is what bratty self indulgent little children do. I was shocked that no one was worried about Hawaii with regards to the Korean missile threat.

I think we should first get a smarter president to analyze the situation at hand. George W. Bush CLEARLY does not have the capabilities of doing anything, let alone a situation like this!

I'm not exactly a rocket scientist, but my advice is since you can't do anything about it, at least look on the bright side. There was a flying phalic shaped object called "Dong 2"
