At the very beginning of the song "Roxanne" by "The Police", we hear a very odd piano chord and then a laugh.

Who's laughing and what's with the odd piano chord? Is it related to the previous song on the album? (I don't own the album).

From my last question "do you believe in God or do you really know Him," I pose this next question.
The Bible says that Enoch walked with God. Yet, Enoch was translated to heaven, for God took him. Enoch wanted to be with God so much that God brought him "up close and personal."
Are there any Christians who seek this type of fellowship with God? Or are you satisfied with your current relationship with Him?

can someone please explain to me the rules regarding penalty shoot outs. after watching our heartbreaking defeat on saturday i was told shortly afterwards that 2 of the portugese penalties should have been disallowed as they were not taken in one swift movement ie there was a pause as the players ran to shoot. I just wanna know if this is true

If you were being abused both verbally and physically, in a marriage or a relationship, what would you do?

The woman is married with two kids and she's working a temporary job but, her husband is working full time making $90,000 a year. Every time she does something that he doesn't like, he abuses her either mentally, or physically. I tell her that even though he threatens to not pay her child support and he threatens to not give her any spousal support that she should leave because no money is better that being abused. Besides, she can always fight him for that right? So, if you were in that situation, what would you do?
