Part of the beauty of music is that the "best" doesn't really mean much...most people who really know and love music would not listen to one musician even though they were the "best"...say you listened to one musician for one month straight...your ears would be begging to hear another musician...at that point you wouldn't want to hear your "best" musician anymore...I would argue that your chosen musician at that point would no longer be the "best".
