My computer is getting kind of old and with the future Windows version of Vista coming I'm sure I'll end up buying a new computer.

So in the meantime, I wouldn't mind playing around with this computer to see if I can get some sort of version of Linux on here. Are all versions of Linux free and if so which is a free version to use?

Also, If I chose a particular version how can I find the drivers for it so that all my hardware will work properly? Thanks for the advice.

I'm 15 years old and every Saturday my mom goes out from 7:30 to 5pm and I'm told to babysit my brother. She always says she needs time to herself, but every Saturday ? Then during the weekdays, she works from 3-11pm [during the school year I can't play sports because of this] and I have to babysit then with my stepdad coming home around nine. So usually I have to make my brother dinner . I'm very fed up with having to watch him and really almost give up my social life for my mother. When I do want to go to a friends house she usually says no and I've tried telling her so many times, the calmest way I can, that I'm tired of sitting at home watching my brother. My step-dad usually adds his two cents by saying it's normal, you're learning responsibility but I don't think watching my brother 6 out of 7 days for a large amount of time is normal. I have talked to many people about this and I haven't heard of anyone else having to do this. What do you think about this ?

Recently NASA investigator Dr.Addison Bain duplicated the ignition by static discharge to the substance that "covered" the airship, proving that even if it was a Helium blimp, the disaster would have still happened.

I am looking to buy music theory books for my husband, who is a self-taught musician. While he's been playing for 18 years, he's never done any theory work and can't read sheet music. I am debating between the Alfred's Essentials Self-Study and the Prentice Hall "Programed Course" series. I have some of the other prentice hall series texts, such as "Harmonic Materials in Tonal Music" by Greg A Steinke and have been pleased, but I don't have any experience with their beginner texts. I know that Alfred's is generally a good line, but I'm wondering if it is comparable to the Prentice Hall. There is a $50 difference in the price of the books. Does anyone with experience with either, or both, have an opinion? Any other recommendations? Hubby's birthday is in a week and a half, so was hoping to get it for the occasion.

All religions tell us there is after life, rewards and punishments. Jesus Christ told us there are heaven and hell. Near-death testimonies tell us they have actually experienced both. If God loves us, there must be Heaven; if God is just, there must be Hell.
Jesus is waiting to welcome you to Heaven, Devil is waiting to laugh at you in Hell. Make your choice whom to follow. I wish you happiness and Heaven and eternal blessings.

Either the Jerry Falwell Christian Right in the US, or the Islamist fundamentalists in Arab countries. If there is a vaccine for AIDS then people can have promiscuous sex without the risk of dying a horrible death.
