Humanistic means devoted to the humanities, such as art, literature, or philosophy, something Di was emphatically not, some of the other Royals used to refer to her as "Thicky". If you mean was she Humanitarian, genuinely caring about others and in improving the human condition, that she was. Di genuinely loved children, that is why she was a working to become a kindergarten teacher when she first met Charles. Her position as Princess of Wales, not to mention her looks and personality, gave her an opportunity to extend that compassion to a Global scale, but even without that, she'd have probably done all she could in whatever way was available to her.

Very much so, she was a caring hands on person who looked people in the eye and touched them (in their souls) when all she HAD to do was stand at the foot of their bed and nod. She was a fantastic person who changed the world in alot of ways, all good. I am very unimpressed with celebrity, but she impressed me.

Yes ...if I had a large allowance as she did and did not have to work then I would go around being a humanitarian ...but then thinking about it a little had to do with her celebrity status ...before she was married she did not do those things hmmmm ...poits to ponder...but I liked her anyways needless...most other royals ( like price charles iritated me ) he went around trying to save old buildings (??/)
