It is often said that no one would do the things illegal aliens do at the low wages they are paid. If we reduced the welfare recipients by 75%, wouldn't that create a pool of US citizens who would be willing to work for the lower wages so we could give the illegal's the boot?

I agreed to paint a couple of bedrooms for a woman that I like because I wanted the oppotunity to get acquainted with her. She helped out with the project however I did the majority of the work. When everything was complete I ended up charging her what I would have charged anyone else. At first she seemed to be a bit surprised but then she reluctantly wrote the check for the full amount.

How does taking this stance with her affect my chances with her? Should I have given her a break on the price?

I am a white person living in an almost all hispanic neighborhood. There is a noticable percentage of black too. It seems like most of the business near me cater to the hispanic comunity rather than whites and blacks. All the newspaper vending machines hold spanish newspapers, not one machine for the city newspaper to be found. I feel like an outcast in my own country. Also every note from my rental office is in spanish too

Never had problem until today. Have to press clutch all the way in so safety device will allow ignition to start car. Suddenly today may have to press clutch several times before ignition will fire. Is there an easy solution to this problem, possibly a switch ar fuse or something?

Argentina's really gone.........and everyone is celebrating.
I'm resigning on watching fifa world cup germany 2006, this is no fun without Argentina, Whatever they say i know they came out as the better them. Penalty kicks is no way to decide who's the winner. we've been together for 10 months now. i met her online and we hit it off and we've had a great relationship ever since. back in late april, a so-called "talent agent" signed her to a music contract which she gets to make a demo cd. the studio is in nj, close to where i live. he even said he got her an apartment 2 houses away from me. we were estatic about it cuz she would be moving to nj with me. but a few days ago, this "talent agent" came clean and told her he was a fake and couldn't do any of the things he promised her. and now she can't come live here with me. we love each other more than anything in this world and plan on spending the rest of our lives together. how can we get through this major letdown. how can we stay together?

60ghb HD in a 2.5" USB EXTERNEAL BOX, USB 2.0. Disk for windows 98 only. Box claims is a plug and play for 2000/XP but doesn't work when computer booted or plug in USB cable after running. Does not have a jack for power pack. Green light comes on when USB cable plugged in. Is there anything I can do, like drivers? No-name, possiblly Tiwan, model 632T. Message says I have it plugged into the wrong port for a hi speed device. When I say OK, ignores using at a lower speed.

my 7 mo old blinks a lot when excited or so I thought. The dr. today saw my baby blink like 4 or 5 times in a row, and he asked me how long he had been doing that.I told him the past few months that when he gets excited he does that. The dr. said we need to watch that because it could be a nervous tick? What!! I have tried looking up on internet with no luck PLEASE HELP>

ok well i a kind...i dont punk girl. the only problem is that my family is always questioning me and the music i listen to or the way i dress 24/7. i am a mixed child my mother is white and my dad is black. i wear black nailpolish and i listen to rock and metal music but it doesnt make me a bad person. i still believe in god and i most definately dont worship the devil. my dad is the worst out of all of them. i'm just trying to understand why my family wont just appreciate me for what i am and not what i wear or my taste in music. i love them but at times it seems like they dont feel the same about me. what do i do????

My husband's studying for the bar exam. I'd like to get him a gift (or several small gifts) while he's studying for the bar. Any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe things that will help him relax or have fun or something. Any suggestions would be great!!
