I am a white person living in an almost all hispanic neighborhood. There is a noticable percentage of black too. It seems like most of the business near me cater to the hispanic comunity rather than whites and blacks. All the newspaper vending machines hold spanish newspapers, not one machine for the city newspaper to be found. I feel like an outcast in my own country. Also every note from my rental office is in spanish too

Where I live, it's the Mestizos and Blacks who are the "outcasts". People here don't cater to their every whim. All the signs and newspapers are in English. If they can't read them, or they can't speak our language, they're pretty much out of luck. And you almost never see one on the streets after dark. (Yes, our little town is very peaceful and quiet. If you play loud, obnoxious ghetto noise late at night, your house might "mysteriously" burn down. With " YOU " still in it!)

I understand how you feel. More variety would be better. On my block alone there are 7 white families (but one is Romanian); a Chinese lady, a Japanese/Indian family, a black/Ecuadorian family, and 5 or 6 hispanic families.
