Never had problem until today. Have to press clutch all the way in so safety device will allow ignition to start car. Suddenly today may have to press clutch several times before ignition will fire. Is there an easy solution to this problem, possibly a switch ar fuse or something?

Your solenoid is bad in the safety switch for the clutch, so you'll either have to replace the whole safety switch or the solenoid.

I would take it in to the shop. It might need a new clutch.

sounds like you should replace the safety switch, should not be a big deal.
