We have been married for almost 2 years and together almost 4. I grew up an only child and very independent. My husband claims to be independent but his mother is very controling and ALWAYS did things for both the boys, especially him since he was the youngest of the two. So his independence is nothing like mine. I love him dearly but he constantly involves his mother in our financial status and asks her for help when we need it. I understand that being young and married (and in school) can be hard but I just want both of us to have control over our lives. When she gets involved, all control goes to her and my husband and I fight about that. He thinks that there is nothing wrong with it but I feel like I am just his roomate who happens to share a bank account. I hate getting mad at him but not talking to me about and involving his mother does not help. I am all about communication. We are both 23 and I feel that we should be dependent only on each other. Am I wrong for being upse

I don't think so. Libs have STD's purely because of lifestyle choices. You could look at it as they DESERVE the STD's they have.

Im a Singaporean so I will be changing Singapore Dollars to Thai Bhat to use there. My husband and I are going there and its our first time. We intend to do shopping, eat at nice restaurants and visit the Phi Phi Islands.

So I would like to know how much money we should bring or rather how much would we need to spend for 3 days?

I am conservative...Anytime I hear or have a conversation with a Liberal I end up getting cussed at or chewed out, and called all sorts of names, and the debate gets no where and I end up learning nothing (my goal in talking to libs is to learn something about their point of view)

I end up pissing them off and instead of quietly disagreeing and explaining their point of view to me they get mad...Why??

by the way during these conversations I have an open mind and never tell anyone they are flat out wrong.

ok so my cousin is my age and he is so bad. he cuts himself, he steals, he tryed to kill one of his friends, he smokes, and i have tryed to help him because i love him so much. when we were younger he was such a good kid but it has all gone downhill in the past year, i dont want him to end up killing himself or ending up in jail "again" . he is only 14 and is planning to get married have 6 kids and take pills so all he has to do is sleep all day for the rest of his life. i want things to be the way they used to be. i thought about writing him a letter because it would be easier than saying it to his face. i am the only one he trusts and he has told me that, he think i am the only one left in the family who doesnt think that he is a psyco killer convict. i am the the only one who belives there is still some good in him. i dont know what to say to him but i want to help him. any advice???plz
