Probably not. If you consider what an orgasm actually is, then you will understand that you could technically have an orgasm on any part of your body. Paraplegics often use the ear as a location of having an orgasm. If you are wondering about the specific anatomy of a human female, then that is debatable. Most animals only use sex a means of procreation. However, there are species, besides humans, who have sex for reasons other than procreation. Is it for pleasure? Who knows. But, when your species has a relatively long gestation period, and most females only give birth to one baby at a time, there has to be some incentive to have sex to make sure that the species survives.

No, it is not unique. Not even to primates. Other animals which experience female orgasm are yes, primates but also animals such as the dolphin.
Dolphins and primates (all kinds of them) also practice rape, gang violence, casual sex partners, and other human like traits.
Very interesting i think. It has to do with size of the brain. Dolphins are the next closest to humans in brain power after great apes (chimps, etc). So with bigger brains also comes violence, gang rape, multiple sex partners, orgy type sex activities, etc.

Reproduction is living thing's main reason for survival and the means to survival.
Therefore reproduction has to be encouraged naturally and therefore making it enjoyable is probably the way to get animals of all kinds into reproduction.
If it is enjoyable with the orgazm as the peak of this enjoyment then there is no reason to suspect all animals, insects, trees have a bit of a funk going on.

i dunno, all i know is that humans and dolphins are the only animals(that we know of) that have sex for pure pleasure. all the other animals do it for procreation.
