um. Let me ask you this: Why do all girls cheat on their boyfriends?
Come on, Nicole. Your question assumes that part of being a guy is liking someone only for looks. That is ridiculous and I'm sure I'm not the only one offended. But I'll assume for a second that it was an accident.
If you don't like guys that only like you for how you look, then find a guy that's not like that. They exist.
You also must remember that looks is nearly always the first impression a person gets from another.
Lastly, there are certainly guys that only like girls for looks, and there are girls that only like guys for looks. They are called shallow people. So what? You don't need them.
If guys only liked girls for looks, then hot girls would never be dumped.
There are two scenarios(I think, here I go making assumptions) in which I could see you asking this question.
A. If you are sick of guys not noticing you, or turning you down because you're unattractive, then you probably don't have a good personality. Sorry. That's fine, I didn't have a personality till I was 20. I had to work hard for it. Get self confidence, love yourself, work on your sense of humor, talk to as many people as you can and be outgoing, and I promise some guys will like you. I've seen some unattractive ladies get guys because they're cool.
B. If you're sick of guys hitting on you, or being jerks after a while, and stop digging on you as soon as they see you don't have a perfect bod, then cover up more, get new freinds, or stop going to hang out where you're going. Maybe you should talk to some of the guys so you can find out if they're shallow or not. And take relationships slow. Time is the best method to tell if a guy is true or a playa.

depending on which guys you are taking about. some guys rather go out with every pretty face and some guys look for more. Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what one guy thinks is nice looking another might not.

Looks helps for intorduction. I'm not fussy but guys in my class want perfection from girls. Lot of the girls ive fanced hav not been what you could call dating material, its just what you are. So its underneath what counts for love, on top for lust.

its your first impression, i look for wat i find atractive in a womens looks, then i say hi and hope to god they have a brain and personality to go with it.
