We want to become part of one golbal ville surpassing all barriers.Communications are helping us to wards that etopian state. .And in that context, patriotism has no value..may be it is one of the factors to make men war?Shall we eradicate it?

Dase S;Think calmly...merge all those isms and bring best out of them...sorry to say... you appear so proud of being american and democrat..Im Indian...secular democrat ...a step better but still I feel you and me can make it and make the word Patriotism meaningless????

I don't believe that could ever happen. Not just because I love my country (which I do!) But I think most everyone grows up with a sense of national pride which becomes part of their identity. Just look at global events, such as the Olympics or most recently The World Cup, there is nothing better than cheering for the home team. The world is shrinking, that's for sure, but what makes it interesting is our differences.

Uhhh...what do you mean WE, commie? I sure as hell don't want to become a member of some global village, for the simple fact I am an American, and I like democracy a hell of a lot more than socialism or communism (the other 2 prevalent forms of government in the world.) Now, if the rest of the countries of the world want to apply for statehood in the US, well, let 'em.
I'm curious as to how you plan to eradicate patriotism - hardcore patriots tend to be pretty conservative, and you sound like a leftist. I think if you try to eradicate patriotism, you might find the patriots eradicating you.

As long as i have a breath in my body, patriotism will live strong, and America will be a sovereign nation, I love my country with all my heart and i have no intention of creating war nor do i condone any action that causes another harm or death.

The Elite and their One World Order will ultimately fail, but only after much social and economic upheaval. It will not be pretty. There are too many people still willing to die for ideallic values and identities.
