My husband and I just broke up a couple of weeks ago after almost 16 years of marriage due to his anger management problems and emotional abuse. He's now in Michigan with his family and the two kids (13 & 15) and I are in Wisconsin. They don't want to visit him. Should I make them spend time with their dad this summer anyway? Please respond and let me know if your opinion is from the parent or kid's perspective.

the girl i like guys with fair skin and i cant get her attention because theres loads of fair guys around her.

I am having a difficult time coping with breaking it off with an ex off mine of 4years. I am dating someone that works with him and it caused bigtime drama between the three of us. my ex found out that me and the new guy were screwing and he got pissed and is now screwing a girl that always tried to get in his pants everyother time we broke up for like a week or so then got back together. i am so hurt by this, but why? i am screwing someone too. it doesn't make any sense to me. this new guy is a wonderful person with so much too offer me in the long run but right now i am so upset and hurt i just don't want to do anything but cry and be in bed. do i need to see a shrink?

Divorce can be expensive and it is very time consuming , but if the law was that after 10 years of marriage, you had the option to stay in the marriage or to divorce without the hassle of going through all of the court procedures, life would be a little less stressful.

A rabbi and a priest get into a car accident and it's a bad one. Both cars are totally demolished, but, amazingly, neither of the clerics is hurt. After they crawl out of their cars, the rabbi sees the priest's collar and says, "So you're a priest. I'm a rabbi. Just look at our cars. There's nothing left, but we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God. God must have meant that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace the rest of our days."
The priest replies, "I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God." The rabbi continues, "And look at this. Here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of Morgen David wine didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune."
Then he hands the bottle to the priest. The priest agrees, takes a few big swigs, and hands the bottle back to the rabbi. The rabbi takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap on, and hands it back to the priest.
The priest asks, "Aren't you having any?"
The rabbi replies, "No...I think I'll wait for the police."

What makes you proud to be a Muslim? How does Islam effect your life? Is there ever thought of leaving Islam?

For me, I love is being a Muslim. I have a purpose in life that I never had before I took my shahadah. Islam totally changed my life for the better. My days now are filled with love and appreciation for Allah and life, instead of love and appreciation for who I could take home for the night. Alhudmillah Allah lead me to this religion and I could never leave it.
