It's normal for one to feel good about or attracted to the opposite sex members. This does not however mean every time we feel such there is something under the skin. If we critically look at the issue, you realise that attributes about others can really pull us to themselves even without them knowing what we are feeling. this should not be confused with love. Love entails the involvement of two parties who are actively participating in the relation. To kick it off one has to start it (either party though it's socially considered a man's domain to initiate it).
When men are interested in a lady, they will either talk it out or express it in one way or another.(But I don't rule out few exceptions where a man will just be quiet)
Supposing you do something as a show/expression of what you feel towards him say like, buy a small gift. The way he responds will give you a hint. However don't portray yourself as desperate he may take advantage of your situation be wise.

why don't you try talking to hm about it use communication there is not enough of it today or write him a letter and see what happens sometimes we can puy our feelings on paper better than saying them
