It's just a clever mathematical trick - no telepathy is taking place.
If you take ANY 2-digit number, add the digits together and
subtract them from the original number, you will ALWAYS get one of the following numbers:
00 - 00 through 09
09 - 10 through 19
18 - 20 through 29
27 - 30 through 39
36 - 40 through 49
45 - 50 through 59
54 - 60 through 69
63 - 70 through 79
72 - 80 through 89
81 - 90 through 99
The symbols in the table for the numbers 00, 09, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, and 81 are ALWAYS THE SAME SYMBOL - so the "answer" will always the match symbol you figure out - no matter what number you started with!
Also, the symbol keeps changing each time the screen is refreshed to make it seem more "mysterious".

those who got it wrong are really bad at calculations
i have found the logic behind.... now listen!!!!!!
when you imagine a no. x such that 70<=x<=79 you will get only 63 for all and if 50<=x<=59 you'll get 45 for those 10 numbers between 50 to 59 . there r such 9 numbers possible. Now look at the sequence 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72,81 they all have the same symbol. that is how your mind is read.

On the surface this is cool, but...
It is mathematical. On each screen there is only one correct symbol. The only way the crystal ball is wrong is if you do your math wrong. If you don't change the screen to try again you will see, every answer has the same symbol. Go to a new screen, every answer has the same symbol.
Sorry to crush your faith in the crystal ball.
