What makes you proud to be a Muslim? How does Islam effect your life? Is there ever thought of leaving Islam?

For me, I love is being a Muslim. I have a purpose in life that I never had before I took my shahadah. Islam totally changed my life for the better. My days now are filled with love and appreciation for Allah and life, instead of love and appreciation for who I could take home for the night. Alhudmillah Allah lead me to this religion and I could never leave it.

Alhamdulillah, I also love everything about being a Muslim.

It gives humans those rights that the world lacks. We have justice on our side, we have peace on our side, we have women's rights, we have human rights, and we have rights for everything. :)

It gives inner peace, it promotes peace to our surroundings - it's just a complete package. Subhanallah - there is nothing better than coming to Islam.

My favorite thing is hijaab and salaah - I love covering myself up before I go out (it makes me feel so different from before I used to do it) and I love to pray and connect with Allah on that basis.

:) There is nothing to regret, except the fact that I wish I could do more in the time I have, and I regret wasting every second I use in things other than worship of Allah.

:) Mash'allah great entry! :D

Islam is not just an identity
Islam is not a list of do(s) and dont(s)

Islam is way of life knowing that there always Allah behind you not asking you for anything but worship you don't have to by a fancy Koran or a fancy car for acceptance

Islam teaches me to respect myself others and their believe

however Islam asks me to be plan my life work help others -as i can- and always to rely on god for every knock and cranny

also Islam is asking you to understand it more than believing and stopping there

ex.understand why you believe in god understand some facts ex. the praying bowing and stuff are not only a worship from a Muslim to god but also it's good for the physical Hymen body approved by sport people

Islam asks you to live and give life all you've got meaning don't ignore yourself and just pray god ;try your best to be a successful polite person with ethicts

I was born a Muslim but turned Atheist because i feel religion is an impediment in the development of human intelligence... I feel proud that we have had reasonable people in our history who have contributed to wisdom and also lived good lives... but that does not stop me from dissolving myself into the larger humanity. I think it is hard but worthwhile to be self critical and self reflexive and live by the facts one can know.
