On the board, posters sometimes criticise Muslmis/Christians/etc.
for teaching their faith to their children. With the faith comes a strong MORAL code.
Isn't yhat a good thing to teach childern ?

I see so many people use the "love it or leave it" defense when debating with a Liberal. First of all, we don't hate America...secondly, we love it so much that we are fighting for a change. But I was thinking about this recently. If Rush Limbaugh had his way and all of the Libs that voted against GW Bush in the previous two elections were to be moved out of the country, what nation would you have left? You would have half of the country (voters) leaving. What would that do to the economy? What about immigrants? I'm interested in your thoughts. (And yes, Limbaugh actually did say that. I believe it was after the '00 election.)

i have a 2yo daughter, she had a chip on her front teeth about a year ago, from then on she doesnt want her teeth to be brushed or touched, so we just let her brush her teeth on her own which made her teeth become worse, theres cavities now and her gums on the front teeth got bubbles, we brought her to the sick kids hosp and they said they have to extract the 2 front teeth, they have to put her to sleep but her schedule would be a year from now since that hospital is really busy, we brought her to another dentist and they said they really have to extract the 2 front teeth as soon as possible coz they're infected and might affect the coming teeth, but they don't have gadgets to put her to sleep, they would do it while she's awake, i'm afraid that would be too traumatic for her, she's just a baby to go through this, im really worried what should we do? is there a hospital with PEDODONTIST where we could take her so she's asleep? really depressed about this matter thanks...

Iv been best friends now with 1 of my lad m8z for a few years now.. Suppose its only just hit me that i feel more 2wards him than i realised. Iv been with a few people through our friendship and suppose i woz silly not 2 realise how much he means to me.. Well he has been with this girls for just over 5 mnthz and he has told me that he isnt happy. I try 2 be a good friend 2 him and tell him to hang in there n work things out with her, talk 2 her.. ect.. She is a complete ***** to him but he says that deep down he does love her.. He always gets mixed up with our names, and his girlfiend does get really jelous when were 2gther. All our friends think we should be 2gether, and there only reason were not is because he seems 2 think he cant do better that his girlfriend because shes very pritty n the sort of girl everyone fanceys.. A few friends have told me that i should tell him how how i feel.. wot do u think?? should i just wait till there over??

I asked a ligimate question and gave prove as to why I say the Bible has been changed to suite the christian religion. This specific passage I took as an example came from Isaiah 9, the same passage christians use to claim Jesus is God. I compared it to the Torah version and it clearly shows that the scripture (Bible) has been "modified".

How come no Christian could give me a response to about the Bible being correct and not tampered with?

My core beliefs- The supreme force is the impersonal Ultimate Reality (or life force, ultimate truth, cosmic order, absolute bliss, universal soul), which resides within and/or beyond all. There are no particular incarnations because God is all and all are God (or God is in all). God is creating and controlling the phenomena uncovered by scientists. Or there are other spiritual explanations, but not in conflict with scientific discovery. All matter and life forms are manifestations (or illusions) of the eternal Absolute (Ultimate Truth, Universal Soul or Mind, etc.). Rebirths occur (continually, or until all life's lessons are learned and one merges with the life force, or until complete enlightenment and eternal bliss are attained). Egoism (self-importance) leads to desire, craving, and attachments, which can lead to unwholesome thoughts and behavior, i.e., greed, hate, and violence. (and on and on...)

My son is 9months old and does not crawl yet. He does roll around and get to where he needs to but he just cant crawl and its frustrating him now. He does use a baby walker and I try snf encourage him to crawl by showing him what to do but nothing. My friends have children the same age just days a part and they are crawling and trying to walk. My olderson walked at 10months but this boy is so lazy. What can I do to help him.
