I TOTALLY agree.
I believe they went for the group that will reach the biggest group of viewers- which means they put a bunch of really not funny people through to the next round.
In my opinion, a lot of the men who didn't get picked were funnier then some of the women who did get picked. Stella? NOT FUNNY! that "old broad"? NOT FUNNY!
et cetera

I've watched two episodes all the way through this season, and bits and pieces of other episodes. I think some of the people they picked are funny. I haven't seen anybody who cracks me up all the time, but most of them can at least make me smile once in a while.
As with all reality shows, I don't think they pick their people completely based on talent. Some of the picks are due to what they think will get ratings. Unfortunately, with a show like this, some of the people picked aren't picked based on comedic ability. Some are picked to cause friction when they are in the house... it'll be interesting to see whether people get more funny as the season goes on.

Yes, other than Josh Blue there isn't anyone in the finals who I liked. I was rooting for Niki Payne and Doug Benson...who I love on "Best Week Ever".
They managed to pick EVERY woman comic that I hated out of the group. That pregnant one has GOT to go!
I think there is a flaw in letting comics pick comics. They grade on a different scale than the public would.

I completely agree with you. We watched the show on Tuesday night, and I told my husband...."I'm not watching it any more, because it's not going to be funny."
While I was watching, I was thinking, this is going to be so hard, so many of the people were funny. Then when they started telling the winners, I was thinking....'Why aren't they picking the funny people?'
It was horrible.

Yes, I agree with you. There were some really funny people before they made the cut to five people, I was really surprised, but Kathy Griffin is a judge, so if she had anything to say about it, there wouldn't be any funny people on the show.

I think they picked some funny people. But, they did leave out some pretty good comedians.
I actually like the guy with cerebral palsy. I admire someone who can take something that can be tragic and turn it into something good.

I think as in the past they went for the diverse group instead of the funniest group. In trying to get the largest possible audience they have to go for the multi-racial, multi-gendered, multi-handicapped (Hate to use that word, but don't know how else to put it). It is hard to beat the first series with Dat Phang and Ralph and others. Plus we just aren't seeing enough of their stuff. They might be good, but one joke is not a whole set.

All new shows are dumb.. I suggest watching a little all in the family... always good for a laugh... now that's comedy not just another weak attempt at a reality show...
