My daughter is 5 years old. For about 4 months or more she has been very different to us ( more me her mom) She was a very outgoing, love everyone kind of kid but for some reason she is not like that to much anymore. She needs lots of attention. She does not listen, won't cooperate, shouting at family and friends, tells storys, won't sleep, fear of being alone.
Today she had a friend over and I could hear her friend say stop it, stop it I went to her room and she was on her friend with a blanket over her not letting her up. I asked why she did it and she said it was fun. I asked if she thought her friend thought so and she said no. I then asked why she did it if she didn't think her friend would like it and she said I don't know.
We have days where she is great. She is very thoughtful with our family. She is funny and loves everyone. She really is a good girl when we have good days. She has a big heart and I know she does get hurt easy.
I don't her to have no friends HELP!

Been dating this girl for almost 3 months, haven't seen her in 3 weeks, due to schedule conflicts, so i started to worry that she has changed her mind about us, text messaged her that i was gonna call a soon as i got out of my meeting to talk, she returned that she was going to be out and would call me when she gets back in. She never called, so I tried to phone her but it went to her answering message, i was annoyed and left a bad message about her not calling, then realised my mistake called her again to apologise also sent a message apologising, I've heard nothing since then, what am i to do?

Our son is 2 1/2 and time out has not worked for us. We don't have a room that he can't do something wrong in to use and having him sit on the bottom step of our stairs or a chair doesn't work. We have to practically hold him there which isn't beneficial in any way. I bought a travel crib but he would just climb out. We have spanked him and he usually avoids that but we don't want to spank him or scare him into obeying the rules...we want him to have respect for us and not fear us. We need ideas on how to impliment time out for a young toddler with a lot of energy. Any ideas?
