Okay....a few weeks ago...I had a sore throat that hurt when I swallowed ... *really badly* and I went to a doctor and they took a culture on my throat and said I didn't have Strep Throat. I was so relieved. The doctor said that it MIGHT be the beggining of a virus...but It's okay....at least that's what I think he said. MAIN POINT IS: HE DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY MEDICINE OR ANY FORM OF PRESCRIPTION and it will go away. It did. I was fine for a couple of days, and then it hurt a TINY bit...the doctor said that I should just ELEVATE my head....when i sleep. ... it hurts rarely and not bad at all...just a tiny bit....but I'm worried BECAUSE i heard that UNTREATED THINGS LIKE THAT COULD LEAD TO WORSE COMPLICATIONS. WHAT DO I DO !!!!! omgoshness. : ( THEN....I just went to the bathroom and sort of gagged myself cuz I heard it was healthy to gagg urself cuz it gets rid of the MUCUS...but...WRONG....it hurt and i couldnt stop gagging.then i stopped and it hurts a bit. HELP !!!!!!!!!

Is gay wrong?

The definition of gay is:
1 a : happily excited : MERRY b : keenly alive and exuberant : having or inducing high spirits
2 a : BRIGHT, LIVELY b : brilliant in color
3 : given to social pleasures; also : LICENTIOUS

All of these are stereotypes of homosexuals. My question is: Why does the homosexual community define themselves as gay? And does this hurt the homosexual community?

Who decided "gay" was good? Why not ******? The definition of ****** is: 1. A bundle of twigs, sticks, or branches bound together.
2. A bundle of pieces of iron or steel to be welded or hammered into bars.

The term "******" comes from the stereotype that homosexuals are skinny and feminine, like a bundle of twigs.

How is this any worse than "gay”?

Why not fairy?

I would really like some constructive feedback from both homosexuals and heterosexuals (not straights because that implies that homosexuals are crooked).

Do the labels we give ourselves affect how people perceive us?

Did he kill himself to help me?

Two months ago my Boyfriend Ryan killed himself because my dad was abusing me because I wouldn't brake up with Ryan.Ryan didn't like seeing me in pain and he thought if we just would have broke up it would have been even worse, seeing and not being able to do anything.So Ryan thought if he was out of the picture my dad would stop, his suicide not said that he loved and would do anything to make my life easier.I miss him so much and I keep blaming myself, sometimes I think his suicide was my fault and if he would have never met me this would have never happened, Should I think it is my fault?

I have a 8 month old son and my husbands troubled 16 yr old sister is coming to live here?

i have a 8 month old son and we are moving in my husbands 16 yr old sister. i love her but she has been in a lot of foster homes and i want her to stay with us. how can i deal with her temper and attitude with out sending her away like every one else. i need productive was to help her. i want to get her on the right path by going to school and such. i am just afraid she will not get her way one day and flip and i don't want that to happen. i have a son to care about.any advice would be helpful. thank you

Why do most people think we "mormons" are not Christians?

We believe in God, and in his son Jesus Christ. We believe in the Holy Ghost too. So why will you not accept us a Christians? Oh and please, don't post "No one thinks that!!" Because I have met plenty of people who do.
