1983 Conflicts. Not sure which is right though..
February 7 - Iran opens an invasion in the southeast of Iraq.
July 25 - The outbreak of anti-Tamil riots in Sri Lanka which left over 3,000 Tamils massacred and millions of dollars worth of their property was destroyed. This genocide is the beginning of a deadly civil war and ethnic cleansing in Sri Lanka.

I don't know if I would call them wars.... We blew up some of Libya's warplanes that year.... There was lots of stuff going on in the middle east, but not out and out war, even the Iran v. Iraq conflict was fairly quiet by then.... we invaded Grenada, but that was more like a drive by shooting than a war. I can't think of any real 'wars' happening then, but I bet somebody on here does.

I think thats when they sent seals into Grenada . I was sick with anger for days until I found out the seals were men. Somebody somewhere is so lucky for that.
