I'm 18 and am slowly realizing just how unprepared I am for the real world.My mother has always been very dependant on her parents and then my dad and I'd never,ever want to end up like her but unfortunately don't know any better.It's like everyone else my age knows how the world works and I feel so incredibly ignorant.I don't want to grow up and have to depend on a man like she does because I think it's pathetic and she's setting a terrible example for me.How do I learn about the world when I've got no one to teach me?Pleas help

My dog which is mixed race (foxhound and chow chow) craves boiled eggs. She could easily eat 6 or more at any time and she seems so happy while eating them. But I wonder if that much eggs could be harmful to her. Thank you in advance for your reply!

ok i'm kinda stuck in the middle. i believe that they shouldn't be legalized because its unnatural for a guy to love a guy or a girl to love a girl (in the marraige kind of love, not the family kinda love), and a marriage is between a man and a woman. Also its against my beliefs. some people say "if god created everything then he created gays" i don't belive that, i believe he created us and we are free to make our own choices.i also don't believe that people are born gay. i believe u choose to be that way.
At the same time though, gays are people too and its against the law to take away rights from these people.
p.s i'm not gay.

I've lived in the north my whole life & really have never thought of visiting the south because I hate bugs and the heat. So many times I've also heard how beautiful it is there & I'd especially like to visit Georgia, but people tell me that roaches down there are like ants up here. That almost everyone has them & it's not a big deal. Well, I'd have to say that I'd freak out & be nervous my whole trip if I saw any indoors.............

For as long as I can remember, I've always had low self-esteem as a preteen growing to be a teenager. Now I'm 20 years old and I noticed thoughts and insecurities in me from recurring moments of my past. My husband of two years, tells me I am beautiful and special all the time but sometimes I can't help but feel unpretty and flabby even the more since I've gained some weight. Many people have told me I was pretty; I just accept the compliment and it never ceases to amaze me how low of a self-esteem I have! I just want high self-esteem for myself. I don't want to be conceited, but aware that I am not ugly or unspecial but humble at the same time. I've prayed about this several times and perhaps wish to seek counseling.
