I dont eat meat anymore. After yrs of eating it i grew tired of it and gave it up months ago. And have been mostly eating different varieties of pasta, fruits, veggies and nuts. Is this healthy and effective in losing weight?

Who is your favorite President of all time and why ?

I like Abraham Lincoln because I think nothing is more difficult then leading a country at war. I think a civil war would be the most difficult and at war over the moral and economic issue of slavery would be very difficult. What I found the most impressive about him was that when suspending habeous corpus during the Civil War he went to his Goverment and got their approval. I think rather then dividing the Goverment he unified it under one purpose, self perservation despite opposing veiws his focus was the unity of the nation, regardless of his personal veiws on the moral issues of slavery, he perserved the Union. He reinforced this veiw by not enacting crushing punishments on those states who chose the confederation but instead sought to welcome them back in as brethern.

im looking for a very nice resort to take my family in july something w/ lots to do right there close to beac?

a resort w/ fun things i have 4 kids from 2yrs to 13 yrs old they love to swin and something with water slides would be great and somewhere where we can walk to the beach and i would love it to be where we are waited on hand and foot becouse it is a vaction for the hole family including my husbond and my self thanks so much for the help god bless

For Serious Poker Player Only?

I have been playing poker for a while and I haven't figured this out yet. I need to know if you High card is considered what's in your hand only or what's in the community too. For Example who would win this set and why.
Player 1 cards 8(di) 10(di)
Player 2 cards 8(hr) 9(di)
Community Cards 5(di) 5(hr) 6(cl) Q(sp) A(cl)

Now both have a 5 pair but I thought that they both also have a Ace High therefore split pot. But the way it was won was Player 1 Won. I didn't understand it Could you please explain why it was played this way. And also leave the number of years you have played. Also is there a site that I could go to for these kinds of problems. My dream is to play on the WPT and I want to be better than the Pros.
