The answer is no, because snakes cannot bite the insides of their own mouths (you don't even have to get far enough to concern yourself with whether or not they want to envenomate themselves that way).

A venemous snake's fangs aren't fixed in their mouths like our teeth are. They're held in place by muscular hinges, and automatically fold back and tuck safely away as the snake closes its mouth so it doesn't continually bite itself with them, I kid you not.

No, thats impossible. The venom from a snake is actually a combination of the snake's own saliva and other toxins produced by it. Therefore, it is immune to it's own venom. If a snake bites it's tongue, nothing is going to happen.

Insightful, funny question, but no. When a venomous snake bares its fangs, the tongue recedes to the back of the mouth, out of "dangers" way. When the tongue is in use, flicking about, the teeth are receded as well. Without their tongue, the snake could not smell, thus could not eat, and, in turn, would not survive.

I don't think it would be possible for a snake to bite it's own tongue. Even if it were, the snake would be immune to it's own venom.

no they are immune to they're own venom
but even then, venom is only pumped into what is bitten by the snakee when it wants to, the venom doesn't just come out of the fangs. this is why sometimes people are bitten by venomous snakes and nothing happens; no venoms was injected

I've never read of a snake biting it's own tongue, but most snakes are immune to their own venoms. in fact, some snakes, like kingsnakes, are also at least somewhat immune.

Of course not. Venomous snakes venom has no effect on themselves.

From one thing they have to intenionaly pump the venom... so they can't accidently in-venom anything, espeshaly themselfs.

And another I am rather sure most snakes are imune to there own venom.

probably not.

snakes have extremely thin tongues, they wouldnt be able to get enough venom into it.

No because they are use to their own venom.
