I dont eat meat anymore. After yrs of eating it i grew tired of it and gave it up months ago. And have been mostly eating different varieties of pasta, fruits, veggies and nuts. Is this healthy and effective in losing weight?

You need to get the proper proteins. You should add different legumes to you diet as well so you get the proper combinations of amino acids.

Protein is one of the MOST IMPORTANT building blocks to our nutritional status that we can consume and I don't think you are getting enough by just eating nuts.

Get a good book on veg nutrition and start adding more good protein to your diet. Not SOY, because soy leaches out the vitamins in your body.

Good luck with that, and whenever you want to eat a good steak - we'll leave the light on for you!

not really. it's a common misconception that its healthier, but you can still retain, or even gain weight, depending on your specific diet and excercise routine. in fact, theres a whole list of conditions that vegetarians get that meat eaters almost never have. i know a lot of vegetarians that have had iron defeciencies and things of that nature, which can lead to headaches and hair loss, etc.

see those teeth in your mouth that look like fangs? those are the canines, and they're here because we were designed to eat meat.

No. The best way of life is doing and eating everything which is created for you but due to your age and ... ,consider limitations and control your requests from the world.
Deleting some things from our life isn't a good idea but limiting everything is the best idea.
