Keep in mind I am married. I think the best way to propose to a girl, would have to be romantic, and the more people that you can do it in front of the more it is going to be very special to her. Doing it in front of a lot of people is like showing her you want everyone to see the love you have for her and how much she really means to you. Example: Take her to a diner and a fancy/nice restaurant, and when she least expects it get down on one knee and pop the question right there during dessert or something. And if you aren't that type of person that can do something like that, do a sunset dinner somewhere where you have a bit-chen view of the sunset, do a candle lit dinner (take out from a favorite restaurant) and as the sun is going down go down one knee and ask the question.

Just some ideas : Plan an elaborate day together. Fun little things to do. Be romantic, but not too romantic so you give the surprise away. Wake her up with flowers. Take her places she's never been before. Plan dinner in the evening. Take her for a walk by a beach in the evening. Write her name in the sand.

Make it nice. Do something that she like to do. It can be at a restaurant or even at the movies. What ever you want. Make it a special night or date. Then as you are telling her how much you love her and want to be with her you hold her hand get on 1 knee if you like. And ask her.
Even at home. Wit ha nice dinner or something. You dont need to spend a fortune. Original yet romantic is always nice.

buy about 5 or 6 roses, and take the petals off and spell out "marry me" in rose petals on the ground, next to the rose petals set up a little pic-nic, and candles, in the middle of the blanket between the 2 candles have the ring.
tell her that you planned a nice pic nic for the two of you and then have her meet you there when she gets there be down on one knee and propose.

ok, the best advise is to do something that YOU think of YOURSELF. it will mean alot more, to both of you, then if you take someone else's idea. It will seem hard, but just think of what she likes, then try and incorporate that into the proposal (ex. if she likes football, take her to a football game and ask her from the main microphone in front of everyone...they usually let people do it right after the national anthem..but you get what i mean) good luck, and i hope you and your bride to be are very happy!

do something that is signifigant to her, where you met or if she is into something incorporate it into the asking. If I was me i'd say get me a cheap ring and a b****** gamming computer!!!!dual processors dual vid processors !!!! woot and I am a female! Find what she really cares about. Most women want the diamond thing but really I'd rather have the computer it's more fun that a rock on your hand but I think something there is important becasue it signifies your bethrothed and taken. If I had more background on what she likes and stuff I could help you more.

Go for a moonlit walk along the beach. Then make her close her eyes and, while her eyes are closed, write it in the sand. Then get down on one knee with the ring held out towards her, and say "okay, you can look now". That's always been my favourite fantasy.

well ......
this is wht happ to me......
but its diff here it was my birthday.....
and were talking till 11:30 pm.....
then frm 11:30 to 12:00 for every 5 minutes he kept giving me these presents......
and at 12:00 he gave the best present in the world....he gave me a cute puppy.....(i love dogs)
u propose to her the same way....its so romantic.....
u keep giving her gifts every five minutes and at the end give her something big!!! like jewellery (ring) if she likes also a puppy ....
believe me she will love it..........
and then u propose to her with champagne and stuff like that

Choose an isolated spot
There just gift her the flowers and express urself...

Take her to a dance room. the lights are turned off & the only light you get is from candles. dance to a slow song(R&B). Afterwards, both sit down and turned off the candles except the 1 on your table. blow the candle off, and the lights come up. as she notice her family and your family is in the room. then just go on 1 knee and do your thing!!
