I went there 4 years ago and I loved it. I went to Napa and Sonoma, Muir Woods, Fisherman's Wharf, the Ripley's Museum and to Golden Gate Park. What should I do this time that I did not do last time? I would like to keep it fairly inexpensive. I would like suggestions for must-see attractions, restaurants, museums, and bars/clubs that are semi-affordable.
Also, does anyone know of any good vintage stores or resale stores in San Francisco?

I am hoping to do a job transfer. However, I still need to find an apartment (that takes pets) & do all the other necessary tasks to make it a smooth transition. I just don't know where else to begin besides saving money. I am planning to move late Spring/early Summer 2008. Any tips?

I'm planning a move to San Francisco in a couple of months. I'd love to live in a place that has the following:

-Close proximity to a number of vegan/vegetarian/organic restaurants. My fav place in the city is Cafe Gratitude so anywhere I can live close to a variety of places like that would be awesome.

-Close proximity to a good yoga studio or two. I've been spoiled living in Santa Monica as it's the capital of good yoga. But I know SF has a lot of good stuff too.

-Close proximity to public transportation and ZipCar/FlexCar. Probably won't have a car but will need to get back and forth from SFO/OAK and also down to the South Bay.

What do you think the best places would be for this?

I am looking to buy a home in the SF Bay area peninsula, and see some promising places in Redwood Shores. Broad overviews of the pros and cons of the city would be much appreciated.

From what I understand from my limited research, it seems to be a southern version of Foster City. I'd especially appreciate thoughts on neighborhood atmosphere, safety, earthquake safety (engineered landfill?), and the like.

Thanks very much!

Would you rather fly out of San Jose instead of San Francisco Airport, if the airfare was the same?

What do you think about the under-utilization of SJC by most airlines except Southwest?

Hi, my husband and I are looking for something to do this weekend (Sept 22nd) for our 6th wedding anniversary. We enjoy nature-ish things and would like to spend at least one night. We were thinking of the usual Monterey or the San Mateo coast at a bed and breakfast but wanted something more original...any suggestions???

I want to take my gf to Napa Valley for our anniversary. I am a college student so I'm on a low budget and my gf doesn't like me spending too much money on stuff like dinner and watever. She gets uncomforatble when I do. So, I need romantic cheap things to do. I was thinking of good affordable wine tasting (wine budget < $15), good affordable lunch or dinner that isn't too fancy but still 'Napa' kind of food(i mean like not something I can find at every other town) (food budget < $50). Please give specific names of the places, preferably close to each other, and typical prices if u know it. Any other ideas are appreciated.
