When I move to California from Florida, at age 18, will I have to retake all the exams to get my drivers license? When my parents moved from New Jersey to Florida, they just had to get their eyes checked pretty much and they were issued a FL license the same day. Will that go for me too when i move to Cali?

Looking for cabin-type lodging in Yosemite for 6 adults. Anyone know of a good spot or even recommendations of good areas within Yosemite where we should be looking to stay (near good hiking, possibly waterfalls, etc.)?

My boyfriend and I are going soon and are deciding if we should drive down for one day (from the East Bay) or stay at a hotel and make it a weekend trip.

Several hotels offer two-day tickets to the aquarium as a special package deal. We're not sure how big the aquarium is and whether it's worth it to spend two days there, or if one day is enough.

I was told by a friend that there are like 4 women per 1 male in San Francisco, making living there and finding a relationship that much more difficult for a woman. Is this true? I mean, I know there are a lot of homosexuals, but I never heard single women had such a difficult time finding a loving relationship there (with a man, that is). Thanks!

feasible to take the Bart and then switch to a Cable car cause I don't think the Bart goes near the North Beach neighborhood. If Bart to Cable would work, which Bart stations do I go to and which airport would be best to come in on? Is their a Bart directly out of the airports?

My husband and I are leaving for San Francisco on Thursday. I have never been there, so I have no idea what to take in the way of clothing. We live in Houston, Tx, so it is still hot here. I'm assuming it's much cooler in SF. We are planning on doing all the tourist stuff, as well as touring the wine country. We are staying in an area I believe is called Union Square. Any advice on what to wear would be greatly appreciated!

I was looking in to driving up to San Francisco for a honeymoon. I have only been there a couple times before; at an exes company picnic and once with work but never got too see much of it (stayed maybe a day) There was a hotel there called Miyako Hotel in JapanTown section of San Fran. Has anyone been there? IS it nice? Does it cater toward tourists?

I am in my early twenties and moving to San Francisco in about a month. I am curious about the ultimate neighbourhood to live in that is affordable and has plenty of young people, bars, restaurants and stores around. A convient location would also be a plus.

I want to move to San Francisco for a year and I'm intending to swap my apartment with someone via a houseswapping service, and will not be working as I want to write a novel. I will be living off my savings. Will I still have to come back to the UK every 90 days, or is there some other kind of visa I can get? I do not qualify for a green card via spouse or parent.
