Hello. Me and my girlfriend are visiting my family in San Francisco, we wanted to get away from the civilization in some kind of forest are with not alot of people there. Can anybody sugest something around San Francisco?

Muir Woods Mount Tam and Bodega Bay. Stay away from the tourist times in summer. Go north, into Marin and onto Mendicino
or south to Big Sur

Point Reyes National Sea Shore, It has the sea and the forest. Also has many walking trails that go all over. Very nice

Head North on HWY 101 for about 30 miles and cut over to HWY 1 when you get your first chance. There are big trees and miles of people-less coastline there.
