Your question is something like "What sweets are there for me to try in a candy shop?" In Bezerkly there are more things to do than you could possibly do in one life time.
There is theater (Berkeley Rep and Zellerbach Hall)
There are more restaurants than fleas on a dog.
There is the Lawrence Hall of Science for some touchy feely education (not Chabot as someone mistakenly suggested).
There is the Marina for windsurfing, boating, and fishing.
There is PAC 10 sports at Cal.
There are shoppes and boutiques on College, University, and Telegraph.
There are large, lush parks for communing with nature and picnics.
There are night clubs and such for meeting people.
And, if you get tired of all that, you can always take BART (our subway) to San Francisco...I understand that city has a few things to do too.

Berkeley has plenty of shopping and restaurants, especially along Telegraph Avenue. If the weather in decent, there's Tilden Park. It's a great place for a picnic, and there's a small train that will take you around through the redwoods. If you like astrnonomy, there's the Chabot Space and Science Center. There's also a pretty nice lookout point near there where you can just relax and look over the city. UC Berkeley sometimes has ballgames. And there's usually a variety of concerts (major recording artists) at the Greek Theater.

Go to Telegraph and shop during the weekend and have some pizza or something. Go to Tilden Park and ride the mini train. Take a walk at the Berkeley marina. Go see Cal kick some major butt!

I'm not really a Berkeley-type person but their used book and CD stores are well worth the visit. Moe's Books, Half-price Bookstore, Rasputin Records.
