hello all! i live in australia but am seriously wanting to move to either america or canada. im not sure which though so i was wanting some advice...what one? what are the pros and cons? is one harder to enter than the other? also, where abouts? where are some nice places to live in either? im not really a "city" person so was thinking about smaller town type things. any suggestions would be great :)

Do you remember MTV's Real World Seattle? I heard that back when they were filming the reality show, the cast and crew were not accepted by the town. They had to stop filming because of the harassment by the locals. Apparently they were harassed, spit on, and people wore shirts that said "Seattle thinks Real World SUCKS". I guess they just weren't accepted there.

Anyways, can anyone confirm if this is true? Also, does anyone from Seattle actually remember any of this?

I'm from the Midwest and I'm thinking of moving to the South because I'm tired of the cold winters here. My 2 favorites are San Diego, California, and Phoenix, Arizona. my boyfriend and i have been thinking of going to reno for new years. I went like 8 years ago and i loved the new works show. Last time i went i stayed at a hotel and didnt have problems with parking but this year we will be staying in lake tahoe and will have to find parking. So every year my parents let me throw a huge New Years Eve Party and this year for some reason im not allowed to lol I need help finding somewhere for me and my friends to go. I would like it to be realtiviley inexpensive but i want to have a great time with my friends. I dont want to go to a club..there is to many drunks!
