Are their a lot of tourists?

Are their a lot of immigrants?

How is the traffic?

What should I expect to pay for a decent 1 or 2-bdrm apartment. (Decent means no roaches or ants)?

Sorry no one would answer your question. I live near Tampa on the Hernando County Airport, which is abour 35 miles away.

I would say Tampa is a tourist destination like Orlando. There are several attractions that might bring torists, Busch Gardens, The Lowrey Park Zoo, a fantastic aquarium, tampa bay Bucnaeers and Tampa Bay it's self.

Across the bay is St. Pete with their peir and Tampa Bay Rays, a major league baseball team. By all means did I list everything there is to do and see in the Tampa Bay area

Traffic is bad on I-4, I-75 and I-275 but it thins out after rush hour.

The below site should give you an idea of apartment prices. Don't rent before you look over the area.
