Have no pros and cons for you as I have never lived in Canada. You can access web sites that will give you ideas about either. But I would suggest that there are good points about any country you might just choose to immigrate to. Flip a coin, move to one or the other. I'm told it's not all that hard to immigrate between them. Good luck. By the way I am biased in favor of the USA. I have lived in several parts of it and find them all quite delightful in some respects and lacking in others. No country is a perfect choice, you get out of something only that which you are willing to put into it.

My best advice is to visit a place first before deciding to move. This is after moving many times across the US. I would come for a visit, mark the towns and states/provinces you are thinking about and check them out. While you are there, check out the job scene and cost of rent. See how well you get along with the locals. I know it may sound like an expensive endeavor rather than just moving but in the long run it may save you the disappointment of being somewhere that you aren't happy with. Good luck! Also, we could give you more advice about what cities you might like if you tell us your interests and hobbies. Such as are you into natural foods or do you like bluegrass music or jazz?

Well America

Pro's - Large amount of different states to live, all offering different things depending on the type of person you are.
Quite cheap to buy houses also depending where you wish to stay

Con's - Can be alot of violence over in america, but then again in some areas nothing happens.

Canada -

Pro's - Friendly place, easy to make friends and get on with people, and like before another large area to live where you want, also a very scenic country.

Con's - Quite expensive to get a house over in canada, but you may be lucky and find a bargain!

Good Luck

As you must be aware, Canada is located in North America. The country to the south is The United States of America, which is quite a mouth-full. The name was contrived for political reasons, but the people took to calling themselves Americans. There isn't much difference between the two countries. You scarcely notice the difference when you cross the border. Canadians swear they're much different, but they frequently mistake me for one of their own. The big difference is climate. Most Canadians live within 100 miles of the border and they're likely to head way south in the winter. The USA is a large country with a wide range of climates. The 48 contiguous states cover an area about the size of Australia, but there are 50 states. We also have Alaska and Hawaii--Eskimos and hula girls.

Hey i live in America but i would go to Canada. America is hard to get into now and you have to have a reason to come here. You can't just come here for no reason. Go to Canada it's better for you. I love Australia. Why would you want to move away form the most beautiful country in the world.

Canada is the place for you! United States is always busy and way too much for any one who visits. Canada may have a harsher climate, but not as many people live there. Alaska may be best if you are looking for small towns. I live in the United Staes but have visited Canada many times, the drive is only about 6 hours, enjoy! =)

Since youre not a city person you should try Canada...ive just moved to Canada from California and has been ok..made lots of friends at school but here the climate is realllllly different but friends of mine say that British Columbia has a different kind of snow they say its not that cold but here in Alberta its reallll cold but work is easier to find here in Alberta but people say there in BC its hard to find work..in the US it very busy well in big cities like LA (where I used to live) or New York, or Florida but there are many places in the states where its not too big like in Arizona but it gets reallly hot there in the summer....

Canada:
Lower crime rates
Socialized health care

America:
The rest of the world looks at you as though you are stupid and evil
and they may actually be right after all we allow ourselves to be run by corrupt politicians yet no one will band together to change it.
