I am looking for a bar to go to this Saturday that will have a more young professional crowd. I don't want a loud/shoulder to shoulder club. I am not into dancing.. Also what is the standard clothes to wear... Are jeans and cami still acceptable? (I don't go out in the city anymore :( )

Any thoughts.. I am going to be staying a friends while he is away .. He lives on the upper east side.

I have never been there before and is my dream destination. I have always wanted to go. Can anyone tell me what St. Patricks day is like there and where are the best pubs to go to (preferably irish ones!) Any great restaurants you would recommend?
