I know that Hawaii and New York are two totally different types of places, but do you think you would prefer the big city life or life in the tropics?

How far away is Rutger's University from the New Brunswick stop on the Northeast Corridor Line of NJ Transit's subway system? And how long does the ride take from New York Penn Station to New Brunswick?
Thank you.

Hi ... Flying over on this coming Friday morning to Newark Airport from the UK for a week away ...... tell me .... should we dress for cold ... or very cold? And last time I came, two years ago ..... couldn't buy teabags or chilled milk anywhere but then I didn't really know where to go. Since us Brits love our hot tea .... where can you get chilled milk in the middle of New York? OH, I'll bring the teabags with me ... they're a damn sight cheaper here!!

Anyone used it? Have an opinion?
I'm coming from New Jersey so I would go to New York Penn then probably on subway to Jamaica Station to pickup the Air Train. I need to be at the airport about 8pm on a Friday night in the summer so I'm thinking mass transit is the best way to go as opposed to having someone drive me.

My friend and I are coming into the city to see her son march, can any locals or previous attendees recommend a good spot to watch from? I'm looking for something with a good view, restrooms not too far (even if we have to buy something to use them, it's no big deal), and hopefully not too mobbed.

Thanks!

want to move to nyc, and work at newark airport. where would be a good area to live and not make my commute a nightmare? I origianlly wanted to look into the bronx and other subs to save on money, but by looking at a map it seems it would be difficult? so I'm guessing lower man. but have heard the area is bad? Also considered Jersey City but read not to walk after 6 and that kinda scares me. any advice will help!
