How far away is Rutger's University from the New Brunswick stop on the Northeast Corridor Line of NJ Transit's subway system? And how long does the ride take from New York Penn Station to New Brunswick?
Thank you.

long answer above.

the train is 1 block from the main campus (closer to campus than the main book store is).

It also depends WHERE on rutgers campus you are going. With route 18 traffic, it could take you 30 minutes to an hour to get to the far end of campus from the train station.

From New Brunswick Train Station to campus
>The New Brunswick Train Station is located at the corner of Albany Street and Easton Avenue across from the Rutgers Bookstore.
Cab service is available from the train station.
>Campus Bus route "F" will provide direct service from the Train Station/ Rutgers Bookstore to the Cook/Douglass Campus.
>For the College Avenue and Busch/Livingston Campuses proceed up Easton Avenue (short hill) and turn right on Somerset Street.
Proceed on Somerset Street for half a block and turn left onto College Avenue.
>Campus Bus routes "EE," "F," and "L" have a stop on George Street just before Somerset Street. Take any of these buses to the Rutgers Student Center stop or the Brower Commons stop. These stops are within walking distance (four blocks).
