Has he ever been to the Sony Wonder Lab on Madison and 56th Street? The place is great - and, it's free! There are robots and interactive exhibits - he can play all day. He can make and edit movies, do voice-overs, paint a picture, play video games.

From there, you can go to FAO Schwarz (Madison and 58th), Serendipity (60th and Third Avenue) or Dylan's Candy Bar (60th and Third). Or, walk over to the TimeWarner building and take him to Samsung. He can play with cell phones (watch tv on them), play with digital cameras and the computers. And, in the back, there are comfortable couches where you can sit and watch a movie. There's a Whole Foods downstairs where you can grab a snack or a full meal. Look out all the windows - they have a great view of Central Park and the city.

Try one of the Zoos, Central Park is my Fave.
Or the Top of the Empire State Building.
The Staten Island Ferry.
Times Square (the Ferris Wheel inside the Toys-r-us is always big hit !)

hmmmmmmmmmm take him to ee the state of liberty its azming and he will get to go on a boat but the most amazing thing about ny is central park first thing in the morning sitting in the park listening to a busker playing the sax man thats living

You could bring him the the Toys R Us in Times Square or the zoo in Central Park. Maybe bring him to the Top of the Rock Observatory so it seems he is on top of New York. =]

Awe, I was gonna say Madame Tussaud's wax museum, but the Toys R Us would be fun. It has a little ferris wheel in there and everything.
