I'm a 28 year old single mom, raising a 5 year old boy and need change. I'm sick of LA traffic, and want to own a comfortable home. I love the city and don't want to move to far from it either. Can't afford anything too extravagant, I have an associates in Business, and a certificate in accounting and I know that won't get me a home here in LA county! I hope someone can give me some good suggestions, I could really use it! =) Thanks!

My husband and I are planning a weekend gettaway the end of next month but we're tired of the same places. Las Vegas, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Santa Francisco. Do you have any suggestions? We live in Los Angeles, Ca and would like to drive no more than 2 hours. Thank You

I am a student - I need to get from the airport (LAX) to the city Victorville. Are there any buses? Or other ways to get to Victorville except by the taxi. The taxi is too expensive and I cannot afford it. Txs a lot for your help :)

I currently live in West Virginia and I wanna go to LA and become a movie star. I will have to have a pretty modest house to start out with, does anyone know how I can buy a house for less than 100,000. I don't want to rent or live with roommates.

I always hear about, the valley, and i know it is in Southern California, but there are alot of valleys in that area. When people refer to "were going to the valley", or, "oh my gosh, you drove all the way to the valley"? Which valley, it is driving me crazy.

If I start in Los Angeles, can I drive the Pacific Coast Highway (Hwy 1) to the Monterey area in one day?

If we drive straight there without stopping to do anything other than eat, should I still plan to spend the night somewhere halfway?

My daughter will be in Los Angeles (Burbank) next fall doing internships for college. She may need to travel from Burbank to some of the locations of the firms. Culver City, Studio City, Santa Monica, etc. We live in New York. She wants to bring her car (a cross country drive!) because she is told that the LA buses and trains are horribly unreliable.
