I'm planning a trip to Disneyland and am wondering of other fun things to do.. Is June/July a good time to go whale watching? Does anybody know of any whale watching cruises around LA? Any ideas would be appreciated :)

Im hoping to go to college out in SoCal and i really just love to beach, im not a surfer but i dress like one (not posser just like the style). Is it ok to dress like a surfer but not be one in Socal, is it to expensive to live by the beach?? I love the beach bum lifestyle. I was kind of like that before when i lived by the beach in North Carolina. Any other info you feel would be helpful I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Alot

I have been living in LA for four years. My husband has a great job here, and I am a full time student. I hate this city so much. I hate how expensive it is and I hate how crowded it is. I want to upgrade to a nicer home, but for this I would need to stop going to school and get a full time job. Do you think that is worth it? Or is living in a dump and spending four more years in school better? ANY suggestions for coping with city life would be appreciated!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking about taking a summer English course at either USF or UCLA, the problem is that I still don't know which one and the deadline for application is getting very close. I have some friends living in Berkeley so I thought they might show me around SF and I won't be so alone for my first few days, besides,SF seems like a very friendly city (I'm from outside US). However USF is a small university, I'm afraid there won't be much to do on campus. Furthermore, I've heard UCLA is much better & bigger than USF, so I can't get bored even if I only stayed at the campus. I was also told that in LA if you don't have a car you won't get anywhere. And UCLA is located in Westwood,next to Beverly Hills and Bel-Air and all those fancy places - expensive places. As a student with a slightly tight budget I'm afraid I won't be able to have much fun there since I don't have any millions in my account...Please help me choose the best place. T
