i was born in harbor city, LA county and need a certified copy of my birth cerificate asap. is there a place i can go that will give one to me then and there?

The Registrar/Recorders Office, County Clerks Division in Norwalk can supply you with a certified copy of your birth certificate. It's located at 12400 Imperial Highway, 2 blocks east of Norwalk Blvd. Operating hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm M-F. To order by phone call 562-462-2103. The fee for a duplicate Birth Certificate is $18.00.
From Harbor City you would go north on the 605, exit east on Imperial Highway. It's about 3/4 mile over on your right.

Ours here are located in the Town Hall of which you were born. You would need to contact them. You might need to actually show some identification before they mail. You might be able to fax over some. Call them. Good luck!
P.S. I have copies of all my childrens in my safe, ask your mom first.
