Santa Monica Pier has Bubba Gump Shrimp Company

In Malibu, Gladstone's for Fish is right on the water. (PCH & Sunset)

Redondo Pier has Tony's and El Torito. I prefer Tony's Fish Grotto, right behind the fish market on the pier. You have a wonderful view facing south. And they make great Mai Tai's.

Rubys, Multiple locations: 50's style diner with locations at the end of Huntington Beach Pier, Newport Beach Pier, and Balboa Pier. Don't forget to get a shake.

Harpoon Henry's, Dana Point: This is pushing the distance limits, but excellent nonetheless.

1. Yankees 2. Alex Rodriguez 3. I've only ever been to one game, but the Yankees came back in late innings to win. After the game people were chanting Boston sucks, which I thought was quite humorous. A-Rod also got his 496th home run I believe. I'm not quite sure which # it was. 4. I'd give back the ball and meet A-Rod, Jeter, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera, and Joba Chamberlain. 5. Probably not. 6. I own plenty of Yankees baseball cards and other stuff like that.

Several of the piers have restaraunts on them, including Santa Monica, I think the restaraunt is called Maria's. The Redondo Pier has Tony's and El Torito. There is the El Torito in San Pedro, right on the waterfront of the harbor. Plus there are numerous restaraunts in Malibu, right on PCH.

Pasadena is NOT close to the ocean. So you would have to get due west to Santa Monica or Malibu or even a little south to Manhattan Beach/Hermosa/Redondo. Lots of nice restaurants at any of these beaches.
