What do you recomend me to do there, to visit. We don't know anything in there. So where are the cool places to visit. Also what to do 4of july¨?

Is there any shuttle, train or bus service from LAX (Los Angeles) Airport to GREYHOUND STA ,1716 E 7TH ST, Los Angeles ? like we have transport services from JFK or La Guardia. I checked its 19 miles from LAX Airport. How much is for cab from airport?please Help.Thanks in advance, and promise for 5 stars.

I need to go to Six Flas Magic Mountain in Valencia and still not sure which airport should i land in, which one is closer and from which one it is easier to reach Magic Mountain. I also dont know how to reach there after i land in one of these airports. I cant drive, so gotta find some other mean. So if you have any inforimation about this, pls write an answer!

I will be working at Ontario Airport and going to school at Concord in Los Angeles.....they are about 45 miles away from eachother!!! i am trying to find cities between these two cities, so my work and school will be about 30 minutes from each!!!! i am moving to CA from MO so i don't know much about CA! So I may be moving out to LA in August, but I have some reservations. I come from a city in the deep south and, needless to say, race relations here aren't the best. I am trying to get away from all of this and thought LA would be a nice change. However, I've heard that it's a really segregated city and that race relations aren't much better. Apparently all the white people live on the westside, all the black people in south central, and all the hispanic people live on the eastside. Is this true? Are there any communities in the area that are nice as well as integrated? I want to live in a diverse, fun place....I'm really sick of all the nastiness that comes from people hating each other bc of race.

Hi,

I'm moving from LA to Cleveland as soon as my home sells. I will be visiting LA for a week this Thursday, and I'm trying to come up with a list of good communities to check out while I'm in town.

Here is kind of a synopsis of what I'm looking for:
- good public schools (my daughter will be entering high school soon)
- in reasonable driving distance of Encino since I will be attending school there
- reasonably priced rental units and homes/condos

Although I plan to rent at first, it is my ultimate goal to purchase a home or a condo. So, I'm really looking for a reasonably priced apartment and then ultimately, I would like to buy an affordable home in the same neighborhood within the next year or two.

I am a communications professional and I would be seeking a job that involves marketing communications and/or public relations so proximity to magazines/newspapers/media companies is a definite plus.

Anyone know of any decent hotels in a safe part of LA. I'm planning on going to Disneyland, so fairly close to there. As of right now, I'm looking at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the LAX airport. Has anyone stayed there? Is that airport a really long drive to disneyland? It says 30 something miles, which isn't very far in MT but I'm not sure about CA. Any advice would help!
