If you go to a lot of concerts, sporting events, and sit in the VIP section, you might see quite a few. For the rest of us, we really don't see them.

I've lived in SoCal 40+ years, and have seen celebs only a handful of times. Of course, I'm really out of the cool scene (at least that's what my kids tell me), so I wouldn't recognize a Foo Fighter if they all sat next to me in a restaurant.

Saw Ed Begley once at a LA Department of Water and Power event, where he was a speaker, promoting green energy. Very nice guy, gave my kid an autograph.

Saw Little Richard in an elevator in mid-Wilshire back in the late 90's. He had his bodyguards, who were even bigger than me. They looked friendly enough, but I didn't want to chance it.

At sporting events, I sit in the cheap seats, so I don't get to see andy celebs unless I bring the binoculars and scan the box seats. But I'm there for the game, so I rarely do that.

Really, it's no big deal. Most of the time, they aren't there for you to gush all over them. Many are cordial and nice if you do ask for an autograph. Just give them a little space. It's OK, nothing great; you see them, and let them be.

I don't think I look hard enough. But I've been here 3 years, I have seen...

1. Adam Brody (actor on 'The OC') three times at various concert gigs (I guess he and I like the same bands)
2. Some other guy on 'The OC,' the one from the first season who was Marissa's jock boyfriend. This guy was pointed out to me 'cause he was standing next to me in a restaurant and I had no clue who he was. I still have no clue.
3. Christina Applegate at the table next to me at Geisha House
4. Dr. Drew (from Loveline) at a KROQ concert.
5. A few Foo Fighters at a Mexican Restaurant in Topanga Canyon.
6. A dude from Bad Religion, but I don't know which one.

too many indie rock stars who aren't famous yet, but will be real soon...

and today at lunch, we saw the cast and crew of 'The Closer' checking out the parking lot where I had left my car.

It can be hard to spot celebrities; it all depends on where you hang out.

Go to LAX and you've got a pretty good shot at seeing them-- I saw Cher there and my husband met the late Gene Siskel, the movie critic, there. I met Desi Arnaz at Del Mar races and Jack Klugman at Hollywood Park. We saw Rod Stewart and Barbra Streisand (not together) at a Donna Summer concert years ago.

OTOH, I work right across the street from the gym in El Segundo where the Lakers practice and train, and I have yet to see any of them there!

You want the average per capita?

I imagine every one who lives here long enough will see one celeb in their everyday life.

Here's my partial list

Tim Allen
Harry Hamlin
Fritz Coleman
That tall gal that was on Hill Street Blues
Wayne Knight (Also at the TJ In Toluca Lake)
All at the Studio City Farmer's market

Sally Kellerman
Across the street at Trader Joe's

Bonnie Raitt
walking down the street in Studio City.

Kathy Griffin
Outside Supercuts in Burbank

Erik Estrada at Costco in Burbank

And last but not least, I went to high school with Johnny Whitaker.

If it weren't for the B list, I'd see no one at all.

Not very often but, Last summer I saw the doorman from the 'WHAT'S GOING DOWN" episode of MOMMA'S HOUSE.....
In an ironic twist of fate he was actually working as a doorman.
Well, if you squinted your eyes, it pretty much looked like him. Yeh, I am pretty sure it really was.....
Talk about Life immitaing Art.

He develop into observing me and that i walked previous and puzzled how come that guy seems regularly occurring? Then i found out a pair seconds later. I informed my oldest daughter I could desire to circulate communicate with him and he or she pronounced if I did, she could die of embarrassment. He appeared particularly large.
